My name is Marvin Kampermann and I am proud to work as a professional photographer. My work on the shoot set is characterised by a high degree of professionalism and composure. No matter how hectic or demanding a shoot can be, I always stay calm and focussed to get the best results for my clients. My relaxed manner not only helps me, but also the people in front of my camera to feel at ease. I firmly believe that a relaxed atmosphere leads to the best photos. This allows me to capture authentic moments and bring out the personality of my clients in the best possible way.I am particularly pleased that many of my clients come back to me again and again. This shows me that they are not only very satisfied with the results of my work, but also with the experience during the shootings. Their satisfaction is the greatest reward and motivation for me to continue doing my work with passion and dedication. Surely this about me section could be a long monologue about my intention and projects. I could wave with certificates or namedrop people I've already been working with. But that's not what my photography is about - everything that counts is the essence of my work, my photographs. Not more, not less. My work is strongly influenced by my half German, half Italian heritage. You could say that this combination has given me a sense of beauty and aesthetics as well as the clichéd German perfectionism. I would say the sense for the right subject, the exact composition and the perfect timing give my photographs their special touch. But most importantly - I take photos because I love it! I have been working as a freelance photographer in Hamburg, my adopted home, since 2009. I am constantly expanding my portfolio in the areas of editorial, fashion, people, portrait and lifestyle. I prefer to work ‘on location’ away from the stereotypical postcard motifs - as long as the fickle weather in Hamburg allows it.
